This movie is SO funny that I had to go out and buy my own copy.
My kids and I were laughing ourselves silly.
Data Nazi, I knew you had great skills, but never knew you had such sweet hook-ups! More importantly, did you note that "Uncle Rico" is, in fact, John Gries, who plays Lazlo Hollyfeld in Real Genius?
this movie should be required viewing for every 10-year old, just to give them a heads-up for their possible future...loved it, cringed through it, and will never forget it. Lorna
Finally got to see this movie. So good. I was so out of it in high school, and this is definitely how I remember those years. Did you see the extra feature where they're playing kickball? That brought back memories! I loved kickball.
I was helping some in-laws move this morning in the bitter cold, and all I could think: "My lips hurt REAL BAD!" Oh man, it was the best.
Didn't you ever watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? A bowstaff was the weapon of the booksmart turtle, I think his name was Donatello. That turtle had some sweet skills.
Kelly, did you watch long enough into the credits to see "The Wedding of the Century"? I REALLLLLLLY hope so!
I have the need to constantly do the Napoleon voice, even with people who have no idea what I'm talking about. It's an extremely annoying side-effect of this movie. ha ha
And no, I never watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. No wonder I'm such an IDIOT! ha ha
I didn't watch after the credits the first time. Then I read online that there was extended footage. So, the second time I watched it in the same day (what? My husband hadn't watched it yet, GOSH!) I saw the extra ending. Great stuff.
Plenty of people must have read your threat, as every single place around me was out of this movie. Alas. I'll have to rent it mid-week I guess.
Oh great. Now I'M doing the voice!!! ;)
