Unsportsmanlike Blogging from Kristine

To all of you sayers of nay. To all of you who debated me on this simple truth. Now you know. I was right then, I'm right now, and when it comes to Bill "god of the gridiron" Cowher, I WILL ALWAYS BE RIGHT!

IN YOUR FACE, WHINERS!
IN YOUR COWERING ANTI-COWHER FACES!
You know who you are, and don't even try to jump on this bandwagon now. It just left without you. BYE!
Man, that's just about the best thing I've ever seen in my life. You know, except for those first four.

Definitely not the type of Superbowl I wanted to see after those awesome playoff games, but I'll take it all the same. That first half ... eek! I was way too stressed.

The plus side of the first half being so horrible, it showed that Cowher and the coaching staff can adjust while in the game. Great job. And hooray for Ward getting MVP, he completely deserved it.

Have fun gloating. :-)

All I hear around "blogland" is that the Seahawks were robbed by bad officiating. Comments, oh steadfast supporter of "Le Cowher?"

Kelly, the first half was nerve-wracking. I told all of the naysayers at my house last night that while we ate our halftime hot sausage, Cowher would go into the locker room and work his special Cowher voodoo. And he did just that.

NH, as for the officiating, well, there are only two calls that were suspect. The offensive pass interference call was sound. He didn't push off with a little forearm, he pushed off with full arm and HARD. That's a good call. I can see why some would whine about it, but it was truly a correct call.

The only other possible bad call was the Roethlisberger touchdown. It looked to me and many commentators like the nose of the ball did cross the plane of the line. Maybe it didn't. It looked like it did. Doesn't really matter in the end, though. Even if they had been held to a field goal on that series, the score would still have been 18-10. Give the Seahawks back their touchdown and they still don't win the game.

Furthermore, the Steelers got TO the Super Bowl IN SPITE of horrible officiating. Last night's referee, Leavy, is very conservative in overturning field rulings, and I think that's good.

The game ended exactly as God intended it.

That's tongue-in-cheek, right? ;)

Darrell, no. I happen to have it on good authority that God is a Steeler fan. Heaven, I assure you, is decorated in black and gold, and the angels wear terrible towels. The pearly gates have a sign on them that says, "You're STILL in Steeler Country." But forgive me, I really don't like to talk religion on my blog.

Once again, my parents lied to me. They had me believing it was all Redskins-this and Redskins-that up There.

Darrell, I hate to hear that you were so deceived as a youngster. Wow. So very sad.
