As I've said for a long time, the only difference between Streisand's opinion and a bucket of shit is the bucket.

I'm really sick of the leftists trying to bend generations old institutions to their current whims.

Hmmm... Suppose I don't care so much. Only that it is yet another in a long line of delusional Barbra Streisand quips. It never ceases to amaze me that she is an expert in so many things: energy conservation, world politics, and now, religion. What would we do without her benevolent wisdom?
My mom recently met a prominent figure from a small southern town where Babs filmed one of her dumbass movies. This woman said that everyone in the town absolutely despised her. BS would go into restaurants and offer to pay for everyone's dinner if they would leave. She needed to eat alone, and have privacy. She "didn't need people looking at her". (The woman's response was, "Who would WANT to?") It happened so many times that one restaurant owner replied that he would give everyone a free dessert if they just stayed.
A woman of the people, indeed. What an unbelieveable bitch.
OK, now it makes sense. I just needed a little context. Actually, I'm surprised that I read your post at all because my eyes usually glaze over and my chin starts to rest on my chest when I see the words "Barba..........zzzzzzzzzzz Oh, there you are!
